Oppo is gearing up to launch the Oppo K1 in India. The company has partnered up with Flipkart to sell its Oppo K1 in India. The device has already been launched globally and will make its debut in India exclusively through Flipkart on February 6, 2019, at 12 noon. Oppo K1 is a mid-range device whose primary features include  6.4-inch Full HD+ display, 6GB of RAM, 25-megapixel selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Oppo K1 would mark the company’s first ever online exclusive smartphone in India.

Additionally, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is also expected to release two new devices in India this year. One with a mechanical pop-up camera which could be called as Oppo R19 and the other with a hidden selfie camera which is expected to be named Oppo RX17 Pro. Notwithstanding, there has been no report regarding the names of the phones.

The Oppo K1 is expected to come with a similar price tag that the phone bore in China. The Oppo K1, in China, is available for a price tag of  CNY 1,599 for the 4GB variant and CNY 1,799 for the 6GB variant, which roughly translates to ₹16,900 and ₹19,000 respectively.

In terms of specifications, The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 X 2340 resolution at 402 PPI density. Oppo K1 has a screen to body ratio of 19.5:9 and comes in with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, the phone comes in two variants in term of RAM and internal storage. Oppo K1 is available in a 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal variants. The device is fueled by 3600mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the smartphone has a dual camera setup at the back with a 16MP primary camera(f/1.7) coupled with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, Oppo K1 houses a 25-megapixel selfie shooter(f/2.0). Oppo K1 is capable of 4K video recording.

Connectivity options will include Wi-Fi i 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE, and GLONASS.
