Oppo is all set to release the Oppo Reno 6 series- Reno, Reno 6 Pro, and Reno 6 Pro+ on May 22. However, ahead of the official launch, the specifications of Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ have surfaced online. The smartphones have also been spotted on several websites including China’s TENAA certification site. 

A popular Chinese tipster, who goes by the name Digital Chat Station, took to his Weibo account, a Chinese micro-blogging website, and shared the specifications of Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+. He claims that Reno 6 Pro has a model number PEPM00, while Reno 6 Pro+ has a model number PENM00, which is in line with the earlier reports.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro Expected Specifications

As per the leaks, Reno 6 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G SoC, coupled with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The smartphone will run on Android 11 out-of-the-box with Oppo’s custom ColorOS on top.

Coming to the display, the listings revealed that the device will feature a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is expected to carry a punch-hole at the top left corner for the front camera.

As for the cameras, the renders on TENAA reveal a quad-camera setup at the rear with a rectangular camera module. The module also houses an LED flashlight. The mobile phone is tipped to carry a dual-cell battery with two 2,200mAh cells. Oppo could offer a 65W fast charging support for the device. It measures 160×73.1×7.6mm.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ Expected Specifications

Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G SoC, coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 11 with ColorOS UI on top. The top-end variant features the same display as the Reno 6 Pro, along with a punch-hole for the front camera.

The camera module on Reno 6 Pro+ is the same as the one on Reno 6 Pro, however, the configuration of the sensors is yet to be known. The device also packs a dual-cell battery with 2,200mAh each, making a total of 4,400mAh, which supports 65W fast charging. The device could measure 160.8×72.5×7.99mm.

According to the leaks, both the smartphones feature exactly similar specifications, except for the processor. Other details regarding the pricing and other configurations of the smartphone will be known on the official launch of the devices on May 22.
