Oppo announced the Reno smartphone line-up last week and the company has been having a hard time containing the specifications of the device. There have been multiple leaks about the Oppo Reno device revealing color options, camera setup, and a lot more. While Oppo is focusing on camera capabilities with its Reno smartphone by providing 10x lossless zoom, fresh leaks have suggested that Reno will be coming in with different variants in terms of processing performance. Separately, an Oppo official has revealed that the top of the line variant of the Reno will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with the liquid cooling system.

Oppo VP, Brian Shen, revealed on his Weibo account that one variant of the Oppo Reno will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, and will feature liquid cooling with copper tube. Brian has also referred to another model of the Reno as the standard variant, which is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC. For heat dissipation in the standard variant, Oppo has included heat-conducting gel and graphite sheet. These methods are expected to keep those variants of the Oppo Reno from getting warm during multitasking and gaming.

The standard variant of the Reno got leaked recently, revealing a unique pop-up selfie camera that pops up from one side. The pop-up will accommodate camera sensor along with the selfie flash. The standard variant also reveals a dual-camera setup, indicating that Oppo might be reserving the triple rear camera setup for its high-end variant. Both the variants, however, are expected to feature the Sony IMX586 48-megapixel primary camera.

A leaked case render of the standard variant also revealed a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, and speaker grille at the bottom. The case renders reveal the typical positioning of the buttons on the device, but it is not clear if the standard variant will be shipping with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As previous leaks suggest, Oppo Reno will be made available in Black, Green, Purple, and Pink color options. The Oppo Reno is said to be featuring 10x optical lossless zoom, a technology that Oppo showcased at MWC 2019. Oppo Reno is expected to launch with this feature on April 10.
