Xiaomi unveiled the Poco F1 smartphone in August last year and since then the device has been receiving positive feedback from users all over the world. Poco F1 has also been subjected to various price cuts since its launch and now, Xiaomi has announced a new price cut of ₹2000 on the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant of the smartphone. It is a limited period offer that runs between March 25 and March 28. The announcement for the new price cut came after Xiaomi rolled out the Game Turbo Mode for the Poco F1.
With the new price cut, the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant of the Poco F1 will be available for ₹20,000. The smartphone can be purchased through Mi.com and Flipkart. Also, the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions of the Poco will be available with respective price tags of ₹19,999 and ₹27,999. These two models will be available with cashback of ₹2000 and ₹3000 respectively.
The Poco F1 has received some important software updates in recent months including the Widevine L1 certification. With the Widevine L1 certification, the smartphone has been enabled to stream high-quality video on streaming services like Netflix, Hotstar, Prime Video, Hulu, HBO and so on. Poco F1 also introduced the Game Turbo Mode because of the popular demand by its users. The Game Turbo mode ensures topnotch gaming experience by optimizing the performance of CPU and GPU.
Poco F1 is the first smartphone from Xiaomi sub-brand Poco. The phone features a 6.18-inch FHD+ display with 2246 x 1080 resolution and 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of onboard storage. Poco F1 also comes with Liquid Cooling Technology and IR face unlock.
In the imaging department, the smartphone features a dual-camera setup compromising of a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the device has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
The MIUI 10 Android 9 Pie OS comes preinstalled on the device. It is packed with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
