POCO M3 Pro 5G is all set to be unveiled on May 19. However, the design of the smartphone has surfaced online, ahead of the launch. POCO has also revealed that the upcoming POCO M3 Pro 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The smartphone is expected to be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 5G that was launched earlier in China.

A tipster, who goes by the name Ishan Agarwal, took to his Twitter account and shared the render images of the upcoming POCO M3 Pro.

As per the leaks by Ishan, POCO M3 Pro features a unique design language with a triple-camera setup at the rear and a center-aligned punch-hole on the display for the front camera. The rear camera module is accompanied by a dual-LED flashlight. The fingerprint scanner can be seen embossed upon the power button.
The display has slim bezels on the edges and a slightly thicker bezel at the chin. The device features a dual-tone finish with a black-rectangular strip covering the entire rear camera setup. It also has POCO branding on it. The smartphone will be offered in three color schemes- Blue, Yellow, and Black.

POCO, via a tweet, revealed that the forthcoming POCO M3 Pro 5G will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC based on a 7nm fabrication process, coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

POCO M3 Pro is expected to be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 10 5G and the Dimensity 700 SoC was expected. If that is indeed true, POCO M3 Pro will feature a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a 90Hz fast refresh rate. The leaked renders revealed that the display will carry a center-aligned punch-hole.
As for the cameras, the phone can be seen sporting a triple-camera setup. The configuration is expected to be a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and two 2MP sensors with an f/2.4 lens for depth sensing and macro shots. Upfront, an 8MP sensor could be placed under the punch-hole.
The mobile phone could carry a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It comes with HiRes Audio certification with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options like 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
POCO has scheduled a virtual launch event for POCO M3 Pro 5G on May 19 and will be streamed via social media sites. Further details regarding the pricing and availability of the smartphone will be revealed on the launch date.
