PTron has come up with a stylish wireless neckband style headphone in India, which is called Tangent Plus v2. The headphones were launched at an attractive price of Rs 999, but it has since come down and is currently available for Rs 899 on amazon.in.
According to the company CEO, “Wireless is clearly the growing craze among the occupied youth. Every detail of pTron Tangent Plus is refined as per consumer feedback to include improvements in battery life, connectivity, seamless fast charging, and ergonomic design to produce the best possible music experience for music enthusiasts.”
Here we will talk about some key features of PTron Tangent Plus V2 that will help you in making right decision.
If we talk about the sound profile of Tangent plus v2, it mainly revolves around a boosted bass sound. So if you are a bass-lover, it’s a no brainer for you.
In addition to that, the vocals and trebles are also balanced finely.
One issue here is that when you try to up the volume towards maximum, the sound degrades a little bit.
So, unless you like to listen to music in the maximum volume, this is a fine choice for you.
The Built quality of Tangent plus v2 is one of the most attractive features of this earphone. It is built of good quality of durable plastic with additional rubberized sections here & there.
The wire quality however, could have been better. It has a mid-thickness round wire which might not be as durable as flat rubber wire in other premium earphones.
I would say for an earphones in this range, the noise cancellation quality of Tangent Plus V2 is pretty good. It has a passive noise cancellation feature, which is perfect for normal usage at home and other places with intermediate noise.
This however is not effective with public places with loud noises.
Therefore, if you are specifically looking for noise cancellation feature, you have other options. But in this range, with all the other features, Tangent Plus V2 is a smart choice.
These earphones come with a 220mAh battery which gives a total playback time of 18 hours. It however, depends on the volume level and type of audio that you are listening to.
For a moderate user, it should last you two to three days.
The earphones also have a fast charging feature, which allows you to have a battery life of around 6 hours with just a 10 minute charge. Pretty impressive, no?
All n all, Battery-wise, you have nothing to worry about. In this price range, it is a deal-grab for you.
The earphones come with Bluetooth v5.0 with a standard connectivity range of 10 meters.
Since Bluetooth v5.0 is very functional, and there is no higher version of Bluetooth in this segment, this is the best choice that you can get.
