Qualcomm has announced 750G SoC with 8 CPU cores.

Snapdragon 750G SoC is the latest addition to the Snapdragon 7 series. The chipset obviously has 5G support. It is an octa-core processor and is built on 8nm architecture. It is somewhere between the 730G and 765G SoC in terms of performance.

The CPU is clocked at up to 2.2GHz. There is a 20 percent improvement in AI TOPS and up to 10 percent faster graphics rendering. The CPU offers more than 20 percent performance improvement over the Snapdragon 730G SoC. It supports Qualcomm FastConnect 6200 Subsystem, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and of course 5G with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X52 Modem-RF system. It is capable of delivering up to 3.7GBps download speeds on 5G and up to 1.2GBps on LTE.

Qualcomm suggests that the processor is compatible for HDR gaming, Qualcomm Adreno updatable GPU drivers, and Qualcomm Game Color Plus. If we talk about camera, the processor can support up to a 32-megapixel dual camera setup and 48-megapixel single camera setup.  You also get Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ support. The Snapdragon 750G SoC features aptX adaptive audio for low-latency, high-quality wireless audio.

We don’t know yet in which device we will see this processor make its debut. But there are some leaks that it may be anyone of the upcoming Xiamoi devices. Maybe the Mi 10T Lite 5G.
