Oppo sub-brand Realme has been conquering the budget segment of the Indian smartphone market in India. It has been a year since the launch of the brand and the smartphone manufacturer has already registered its name in the top 5 list of smartphones in India. Realme has been celebrating the milestone by offering various discounts and offers on its smartphones, and now, the company has announced a price cut on the Realme 2 Pro. The smartphone has received a price cut of ₹1000.

After the price cut, the 4GB/64GB variant of the device will be available for a price of ₹12,990. The device was originally priced at ₹13,990. The 6GB/64GB variant of the device, on the other hand, will be available for ₹14,990. The slashed prices can be availed on the devices through Flipkart. The e-commerce website is also offering exchange bonus of up to ₹13,750 when users opt to exchange their old smartphones for a Realme 2 Pro. There are also EMI options that are offered by different banks when users use a credit card to buy the new phone.

The company has also launched an 8GB/128GB model of the smartphone, nevertheless, this variant of the device has not been subjected to a price cut.

In terms of specifications, the device comes with a 6.3-inch display running at a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and features a waterdrop-style notch. The Realme 2 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

At the camera front, the device has a dual camera setup compromising of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the device houses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and support for 1080p video recording. The device comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and also supports face unlock. On the software front, it runs Color OS 5.2 based on Android Oreo. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G LTE. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery and uses a micro USB port for charging.
