Realme 3, that debuted last week in India, featured interesting camera features like Nightscape and Chroma Boost, that are rare at its price range. Now, the company has confirmed that Nightscape, which enables hand-held long exposure shots, will be coming to older Realme phones soon.

The information came through the CEO of the company’s India branch, Madhav Sheth. The CEO announced that the feature will be coming to other Realme smartphones, however, he did not reveal the exact timing of the update.

In addition to confirming Nightscape for older smartphones, Realme also confirmed it will roll out Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 to all its smartphones by June 2019.

Realme 3 is expected to go on sale in India from March 12.

Realme 3 comes in 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM coupled with 64GGB onboard storage. The 3GB RAM variant of the device is priced at ₹8,999 while the 4GB RAM variant of Realme 3 comes with a price tag of ₹10,999. The phone will be made available in Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue, and Black color options. The first sale will include only Dynamic Black and Black color options and will be made available through Flipkart and Realme website exclusively on March 12 at 12 pm (Noon) IST. Realme has also said that the 3GB variant price tag is a part of the introductory offer for the first million buyers. The Radiant Blue color option of the device, on the other hand, will go on sale from March 26, and it will be available via offline stores soon.

Launch offers on the device include an instant discount of 500 on HDFC Bank cards, Jio benefits worth 5,300 on Flipkart, and 20 percent SuperCash on MobiKwik if purchased through the Realme website. Realme will also make an iconic case in Black, Diamond Blue, and Yellow, priced at ₹500.

In terms of specifications, the Realme 3 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 88.3 percent screen-to-body-ratio, 450 nits peak brightness, and 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by 2.1GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM options. It runs Android 9.0 Pie with the latest Color OS 6.0 on top.

At the camera front, the device comes with a dual camera setup compromising of a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor. The camera on the device features PDAF, Nightscape mode, Hybrid HDR, Chroma Boost, Portrait Mode, scene recognition, and more. The device houses a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.12-micron pixels front facing camera, which includes  AI Beautification, HDR, and AI Face Unlock.
