The Realme R2 chip also helps in ultra-low power consumption and to maintain a stable connection. The dual mic feature with environment noise cancellation allows a clear voice while taking calls remotely. Each bud is connected to the phone via a Bluetooth v5.2 link that maintains good signal strength and low latency. As per the company, the earbuds offer as low as 88ms latency in Gaming mode.

As for the battery life, the earbuds last up to 28 hours without ANC and 20 hours with ANC turned on. The buds can last up to 7 hours(with ANC enabled) and 5 hours (with ANC disabled) before they need to go back to their case. As per Realme, the earbuds can be fully charged in 2 hours and it can provide 3 hours of playback with a 10 min charge.

The earbuds ship with an IPX5 rating for water resistance. The codec support is fairly limited; on top of the basic SBC, you only get AAC HD. The earbuds connect with the smartphone via the Realme Link app, which is available on only the Android platform as of now. Various features of the earbuds can be controlled through the app. Each earbud features touch control that can be mapped to various functions like turning on/off ANC, increasing/decreasing volume, control music, and calls, etc.

Realme Buds Air 2 Neo in two color options

The Realme Buds Air 2 Neo are offered in two color options- Active Black and Calm Grey. The earbuds are priced at PKR 7,999 (roughly Rs. 3,800), however, these are available at an introductory price of PKR 5,999 (roughly Rs. 2,900). Realme is yet to reveal the global availability of earbuds.

Considering the price point, it will rival Oppo Enco w51 that comes with ANC. The Oppo TWS is priced at Rs. 4,990 with almost similar features. Realme Buds Air 2 Neo has an edge over the TWS earbuds because of the pricing. We have to wait for the Indian launch to get the pricing.
