Leading smartphone company Realme has clearly made a goal to overthrow Xiaomi from its position. In the last few years, Realme has launched a large number of new products without even caring about logical lineup with proper naming and positioning. Realme announced three new smartphones this year – Realme C11, Realme C12 and Realme C15. Now reports have stated that Realme C17 might join this list soon.
The naming has been guided by network sources that saw Realme C17 with model number RMX2101. Realme C17 has appeared at Geekbench benchmark database and it has been found that the smartphone has around 6GB RAM, 5000mAh battery, runs on Android 10 operating system and is powered by Snapdragon 460 chip. Realme C17 has been already certified by NBTC in Thailand and Sertifikasi in Indonesia. The launch date of Realme C17 has not been revealed yet.
However, detailed news about Realme 7 is out now as the first 180 thousand units were immediately sold out and the company has revealed the first update for the model. The Realme 7 has a 6.5-inch full HD+LED screen with 2400×1080 pixels resolution and brightness up to 480 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs under Octa Core MediaTek Helio G95 12nm processor with 900MHz Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. The phone is powered by Android 10 and has been released under two variants – 6GB RAM+64GB and 8GB RAM+128GB.
Realme 7 has a 64MP rear camera with 1/1.73″ Sony IMX682 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, UIS/UIS Max, 8MP 119° ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP B&W portrait camera and 2MP 4cm macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and Sony IMX471 sensor. Other features include side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C, GPS+GLONASS and a typical 5000mAh battery with support for 30W Dart Charge fast charging.
On the other hand, Realme 7 Pro has a 6.4-inch 20:9 Full HD+Super AMOLED screen with brightness upto 600 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. It runs under Octa Core Snapdragon 720G 8nm mobile platform with Adreno 618 GPU. It has been released under two variants – 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM. It has an internal storage capacity of around 128GB which can be expanded up to 256GB. It is powered by Android 10.
Realme 7 Pro has a 64MP rear camera with 1/1.73″ Sony IMX682 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, UIS/UIS Max, 8MP 119° ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP B&W portrait camera and 2MP 4cm macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a 32MP camera with f/2.5 aperture. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, Hi-Res Audio, Stereo Speakers, Dolby Atmos, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, Dual Frequency GPS, NavIC and USB Type-C. It has a typical 4500mAh battery that supports 65W VOOC SuperDart Charge fast charging.
