Realme has unveiled Realme Narzo 30 in Malaysia. It is an addition to the already existing Narzo 30 series- Narzo 30A and Narzo 30 Pro 5G. The latest offering from Realme is powered by an Helio G95 processor and features a 90Hz IPS panel. It sports a triple-camera setup at the rear.

Realme Narzo 30 Specifications

Realme Narzo 30 draws power from an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, paired with ARM Mali-G78 MP4 GPU. The CPU is backed by 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The storage on the device can be expanded further via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box with Realme’s custom RealmeUI 2.0 on top.

Coming to the display, the device sports a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 90Hz fast refresh rate. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9, a 90.5-percent screen-to-body ratio, and a pixel density of 405ppi. It has a peak brightness of 580 nits and also carries a punch-hole at the top left corner for the front camera.

As for the camera, the phone features a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, and two 2MP sensors with f/2.4 aperture for monochrome and macro shots. The rear camera is capable of recording videos at 4K & 30fps. At the front, a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie snapper with an f/2.1 lens is placed under the punch-hole.

The mobile phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge fast charging support. Realme claims that the battery can deliver up to 32 days of backup on a single full charge and can be fully charged in about 65 minutes. It ships with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a race-track-inspired pattern at the rear that covers the entire camera module.

Connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are on offer. It weighs 192 grams.

Realme Narzo 30 Price

Realme Narzo 30 is offered in two color options- Racing Blue and Racing Silver. It is priced at MYR 799 (Rs. 14,100) for the sole 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. It will be up for grabs from May 19 in Malaysia.

The international and Indian availability of the smartphone is yet to be revealed. Realme India head Madhav Sheth has also promised that a 5G-variant of Realme Narzo 30 will be launched in India.

Alternative

Considering the price range, it will rival Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, which is powered by Snapdragon 678 SoC and features a Super AMOLED display, a 48MP quad-camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support, priced at Rs. 14,499 for the 6GB RAM variant.
