Realme confirmed a new smartphone with latest Realme UI 2.0 in October 2020. The device might be a Realme series smartphone. A Chinese tipster has recently claimed that the smartphone would go official on 13th October.
A few days ago, two Realme smartphones with model numbers RMX2173 and RMX2117 were approved by TENAA authority of China. The RMX2173 has the same specs like Realme X7 which has a model number of RMX2176. It was thought that the RMX2173 might break the cover as Realme X7 Lite. The reason is that the specs match the Realme X7v and the only difference is the downgraded cameras. The Chinese tipster said that the Realme RMX2173 would make its debut as a Realme Q Series phone.
The first phone in this series was Realme Q which was launched on September 2019 and rebranded as Realme 5 Pro. Rumours say that the next Realme Q phone will be Realme Q2. The company has not yet confirmed anything regarding the phone or the launch date of October 13th as stated by the tipster.
The rumoured Realme Q2 device has a 6.43-inch S-AMOLED punch hole full HD+ display which offers 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a fingerprint sensor. It might support 65W charging with dual cell battery. The device is powered by 2.4GHz octa-core and has 6GB RAM.
The device will come with Android 10 OS and Realme UI 2.0 pre-loaded. It has an internal storage capacity of 256GB. The device has a quad camera setup of 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel and a 16-megapixel front camera.
