Realme claims that the company has sold 4 million smartphones since its launch in May last year. The company took on Twitter announce the milestone and said it would be celebrating this achievement with Realme Yo days from 7th to 9th January. The company launched Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1 and Realme U1 smartphones in 2018.

According to the tweet from the official Realme Twitter handle, the company has acquired 4 million users.

A while ago, Realme announced that the company would be expanding its offline sales to 150 cities in 2019. The brand has partnered with offline retailers, this partnership would be known as REAl partners and will add value to the customer services.

The Realme Yo days would be held as a celebration for the 4 million users milestone where the company will be hosting Realme U1 Fiery Gold first sale. The company will also make the Realme Buds available for its customers.

Realme is also said to be working on a budget smartphone Realme A1, specification of which have already been leaked. As per the leaks, the smartphone is supposed to have a water-drop notch housing the front camera. The back panel reveals a dual-camera setup with LED flash and a fingerprint sensor.

As for the specifications, the Realme A1 is supposed to be powered by Mediatek Helio p70 processor coupled with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM depending on the variant. The phone will run custom ColourOS based on Android Oreo 8.1. The cameras on the phone are reported to have a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary camera of 2-megapixel sensor. for the front camera, Realme A1 houses an 8-megapixel shooter. The phone is also said to have 42000 mAh battery.
