A tipster, who goes by the name Arsenal (translated), took to his Weibo account, a Chinese micro-blogging website, and shared the information. He claims that he came across a Realme device(Model number RMX3143) on the Chinese Certification website and it belongs to Realme V25. He has also mentioned key specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

Realme V25 Expected Specifications

As per the leaks, Realme V25 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 5G SoC clocked at 2.8GHz, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Previous generation smartphones of the Realme V series were powered by MediaTek processors. The smartphone could run on Android 11 out-of-the-box.

Coming to the display, Realme V25 is tipped to feature a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. An in-display fingerprint scanner is also tipped to be built into the AMOLED panel. The tipster also revealed that the mobile phone will carry a 4,200mAh battery, however, the charging speed is unknown.

As for imaging, the Realme V25 could feature a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor. Other sensors include an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP sensor for depth sensing/macro shots. The render images uploaded on TENAA, Chinese Certification website, reveal the rear design of the device. Upfront, a 32MP sensor is expected under the punch-hole.

TENAA listing of RMX3143

If we take a closer look at the specifications, the upcoming Realme V25 is nothing but a rebranded version of Oppo K9 5G that was launched last week. Oppo K9 5G is powered by the same Snapdragon 768G 5G SoC and features a 90Hz AMOLED panel with a 64MP quad-camera setup at the rear. The design seems to be similar as per the listing on TENAA.

However, these are leaks and should be taken with a pinch of salt. We have to wait for an official statement from Realme to confirm the news and provide other details regarding the launch and pricing of the device.
