Realme had scheduled to launch Realme X7 Mx 5G on 4th May, which marks the third anniversary of Realme. However, the event had to be postponed due to a surge in Covid-19 cases in India. In a recent tweet by a tipster, the retail box of Realme X7 Max 5G was revealed. This confirms certain key specifications of the device.

Realme X7 Max 5G retail box leaked

A tipster, who goes by the name Gadgetsdata (Debayan Roy), took to his Twitter account and posted a picture of a retail box. He claims that the box belongs to Realme X7 Max 5G, which was supposed to launch in India on May 4. The tipster, Gadgetsdata, is quite popular for the leaks.

As per the leak, Realme X7 Max could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G processor based on a 6nm fabrication process and is expected to feature a 120Hz Super AMOLED display. He also mentioned that Realme X7 Max is the rebranded version of Realme GT Neo that was launched a few weeks ago in China.

Realme X7 Max Expected Specifications

The Realme X7 Max is set to hit in India as a rebadged version of the Realme GT Neo. In that case, the information gleaned from the retail box is right. The phone should come pre-installed with Android 11 and RealmeUI 2.0 on top.

In addition to this, Realme X7 Max is expected to be a 6.43-inch curved display and could carry a punch-hole at the top left corner for the front camera. An in-display fingerprint scanner could be built into the display.

Realme is expected to deliver a 64MP triple-camera system at the back, that includes an 8MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro shooter. It could have a 16MP selfie camera on the front. The phone is supposed to have a 4,500mAh battery with 50W wired fast charging and stereo speakers.

The smartphone starts from CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 20,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model and the top-end model with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 25,700) in China. Indian pricing is yet to be revealed by the company.

However, these are leaks and should be taken with a pinch of salt. We have to wait for an official statement from Realme regarding the launch date and Indian pricing.
