Realme has launched another smartphone in the X7 series- Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition in China. Now, the Realme X7 series comprises- Realme X7, Realme X7 Pro, and Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition. The smartphone features a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 90Hz AMOLED curved display on the front.

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition Specifications

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G octa-core processor, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box with Realme UI 2.0 on top.

The device boasts a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED curved display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a 92.1-percent screen-to-body ratio, 100-percent coverage of DCI-P3 Color Gamut, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The display has thin bezels on the chin and top and carries a punch-hole for the front camera at the top-left corner. 

As for the cameras, Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition features a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 lens, and a 2MP sensor for macro shots with 4cm focal length and an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, a 32MP selfie snapper with f/2.5 aperture is placed under the punch-hole. The “DARE TO LEAP” tag-line has been embossed at the rear.

The mobile phone carries a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. Connectivity options like dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port are on offer. The smartphone ships with an in-display fingerprint scanner and weighs 170 grams.

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition Black Forest

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition aka Realme X7 Pro Ultra is offered in two color options- Black Forest and Castle Sky. Coming to the price of the smartphone, it is priced at CNY 2,299 (Rs. 25,600) for the 8GB + 128GB storage model and CNY 2,599 (Rs. 29,000) for the 12GB + 256GB storage option in China. The smartphone is available in the Chinese markets via Realme online store.

The company is yet to reveal the international availability of the smartphone.

Considering the pricing, it will compete with OnePlus Nord 5G and Xiaomi Mi 10T. OnePlus Nord, powered by Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset and features a 48MP quad-camera setup and 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display, starts from Rs. 27,999. On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi 10T is powered by Snapdragon 865G 5G chipset, features a 144Hz refresh rate IPS display, 64MP triple-camera setup, and 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone starts from Rs. 28,999.
