Realme X7 series was launched a month ago, and now the specifications of the next-generation X series smartphones have surfaced online. The specifications were shared by a tipster on Weibo, who claims that these belong to Realme X9 Pro.
A China-based tipster, who goes by the name WhyLab, took to his Weibo account and shared the specifications, which he claims belong to Realme X9 Pro. This Weibo account is popular for sharing leaks regarding Realme devices in the past.

The leaks revealed some exciting specifications. The Realme X9 Pro is going to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, which MediaTek claims to be the fastest and most advanced 5G chipset to date.
Leaks suggest that the phone may feature a Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. 90Hz refresh rate is a downgrade for the X series as Realme X7 Pro featured an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. These are all speculations based on the leaks and there has been no confirmation from the firm.
The main highlight of the leaks is the 108MP rear camera. The company teased the 108MP sensor to be featured in the upcoming Realme 8. It is expected that the same sensor will be used for the Realme X9 series. Earlier leaks suggest that the 108MP sensor will be supported by two 13MP sensors at the rear. The display feature will feature a punch-hole at the top left corner for the front camera.
The leak also revealed that the device will carry a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. Considering the flagship nature of the device, the device should feature 125W fast-charging as Realme already possesses the technology.
Realme revealed last year that they will launch two flagships every year. As per the “Dual-flagship, dual-platform, strategy” of Realme, one of the two flagships will feature excellent performance while the other one will be an “imaging flagship” or camera-centered flagship. Realme GT 5G, which will launch on March 4, is the performance flagship with SD 888 SoC, on the other hand, Realme X9 Pro is expected to be the camera-centered flagship.
The Realme X7 Pro 5G was launched in India at Rs. 29,999. Considering an upgrade in the camera and processor, Realme X9 Pro might be priced higher. The device is expected to be released in the first half of 2021. However, there has been no statement from the firm regarding Realme X9 Pro, so this leaked information should be taken with a pinch of salt.
