Google application Sound Amplifier

Launched earlier this year, Google Sound Amplifier application has got a new look with an audio visualization feature. It will be compatible with Android 6.0 or later. This feature makes the audio clearer, easy to hear by increasing quiet sounds and not over-boosting loud sounds.

The application gives freedom to customize frequencies for better hearing for hearing impaired or in busy environment and filtering out background noise.

Steps for enabling Google Sound Amplifier into an Android 6.0+ system.

1. Find and Download the Sound Amplifier from Google Play store.

2. After installing the application, go to the system settings and tap on accessibilities menu.

3. Scroll down and search Sound Amplifier. Tap on the application icon and toggle mode on.

4. User can now customize application settings for sound adjustments according to personal preference.

It also now makes use of tab at the bottom of a homepage for Sound, Noise and Source. There is now space between its control options Boost and Fine Tuning. Other control option are present in vertical list.

The size of the application is 1.7 MB in play store. This feature currently works with wired headphones.
