Samsung Galaxy Fold preview

First of it’s kind, Samsung’s flexible smartphone Samsung Galaxy Fold is all set for relaunch in September. The company says it has made improvements over the previous issues of screen flickering or blacking out and bulge appearing on the display.

The specification Of Samsung Galaxy Fold includes massive display of 7.3 inch, Dynamic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 1536×2152 pixels and cover display of 4.6 inch, Super AMOLED with resolution of 720×1680 pixels.The foldaway smartphone weights 263 g. It will run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 chipset. It will have 12 GB RAM and storage of 512 GB with no card slot. The device has triple camera with primary camera has 12 MP wide camera sensor, 12 MP telephoto camera sensor, 16 MP ultra wide camera sensor and cover camera of 10 MP sensor with 8 MP camera for depth sensor. It has Dolby Atmos/AKG sound with loudspeaker, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic. It has no audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is sound mounted.

Other common feature include Bluetooth, NFC, USB 3.1 type C reversible connector. It does not have radio. It will be powered by 4380 mAh battery with fast wireless charging option. It will come in four color options Space Silver, Cosmos Black, Martian Green, Astro Blue.

The new changes for the smartphone includes extension of top protective layer of Infinity Flex Display beyond the bezel, metal layer has also been included beneath the Infinity Flex Display, top and bottom part of the hinge is strengthened with protection caps and space between the hinge and body has been reduced.

This new product category of Samsung’s smartphone will cost Rs. 1,40,000.
