Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 10S, which joins the Redmi Note 10 Series, in India. The smartphone debuted globally in March and now entered the Indian market. The Indian variant is the same as the global variant. The device draws power from a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and sports a quad-camera setup at the rear.

Redmi Note 10S is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, paired with ARM Mali-G76 MP4 GPU. The processor is backed by up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box with Xiaomi’s custom MIUI 12.5 on top.

As far as the display is concerned, the device comes with a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The display has a peak brightness of 1,100 nits and a contrast ratio of 4,500,000:1. It comes with SGS low blue light certification and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display has almost similar bezels on the edges and the chin and carries a center-aligned punch-hole for the front camera.

Coming to the cameras, the phone sports a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, an 8MP sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots with an f/2.2 lens, and two 2MP sensors with f/2.4 lens for depth sensing and macro shots. At the front, a 13MP selfie shooter is placed under the punch-hole.

The mobile phone carries a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It ships with IP53-rating for dust and water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and dual speakers with HiRes Audio certification. Connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, IR Blaster, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port for charging are on offer. It weighs 178.8 grams.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S Price

Redmi Note 10S is offered in India with three color options- Deep Sea Blue, Frost White, and Shadow Black. It starts from Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and costs Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It will be up for grabs from May 18 and will be sold via Amazon, Mi.com, and offline retail stores.

Considering the price range, it will rival Realme Narzo 20 Pro, which is powered by the same MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and features a 90Hz IPS panel, a 48MP quad-camera setup, and a 4,500mAh battery with Super Dart fast charging technology, priced at Rs. 14,504 for the 6GB RAM variant.
