Xiaomi is all set to release Redmi Note 10S in India and has scheduled a virtual event for the launch of the same on May 13. However, a landing page for Redmi Note 10S has gone live on the Amazon India website that reveals certain specifications of the device. Redmi note 10S first debuted globally in March and it seems like the Indian variant will feature the same specifications.
Xiaomi, via a tweet, revealed Redmi Note 10S will make Indian debut on May 13. Now, an official page on Amazon has gone live that confirms that the Indian variant will carry the same specifications as the global variant. Xiaomi has also announced that it will launch Redmi Watch in India on May 13 as well.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S Specifications
As per the online page on Amazon, Redmi Note 10S will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, coupled with ARM Mali-G76 MP4 GPU. The processor will be backed by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the smartphone will run on Android 11 out-of-the-box with custom MIUI 12.5 on top.
Coming to the display, the page revealed that the device will feature a Super AMOLED display and will be protected by Gorilla Glass. It is expected to be a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and 1,100 nits of peak brightness. A center-aligned punch-hole can also be spotted on the display.
As for the cameras, the phone will sport a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor. Other sensors include an 8MP sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots and two 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro shots. At the front, a 13MP sensor will be placed under the punch-hole.
The mobile phone carries a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It is revealed that the device will feature dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification and will ship with a side-mounted fingerprint embossed upon the power button. The phone also comes with an IP53-rating for dust and water resistance and is claimed to feature improved haptic feedback.
Redmi Note 10S will be offered in four color options- Blue, Dark Grey, and White, and will be available in three storage configurations- 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 12,500 in India. Pricing and other details regarding the availability will be aired on the official launch of the device on May 13.
