Redmi Note 5 Pro

Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India has been reduced as Xiaomi announced today. The smartphone, which was previously priced at ₹13,999 for the 4GB variant and ₹15,999 for the 6GB variant, will now be available at ₹12,999 and ₹13,999 respectively.

The Redmi Note 5 series was launched in February 2018 in India. According to the tweet by Xiaomi’s official Twitter handle, one crore units of the note 5 Pro has been sold in India. To celebrate this milestone, the company is offering up to ₹4000 discount on its Note 5 series.

The Redmi note 5 Pro was launched in Indian back in February 2018 and the device bore a price tag of ₹13,999 for the 4GB variant and ₹15,999 for the 6GB variant. However, the prices on these devices were increased in May due to changes in PCBA import taxes and Indian Rupee depreciation. In November, the company announced a price cut which brought back the original prices.

The new prices on the Redmi Note 5 Pro can be availed all over India including Amazon, Flipkart, Mi store as well as offline stores.

Xiaomi announced a similar price slash on Monday on its Mi A2. The price on its 4GB variant went down from ₹15,999 to ₹13,999 while the price on the 6GB variant was reduced to ₹15,999 from ₹18,999.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by Snapdragon octa-core 636 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. The device comes is in 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB. The smartphone runs on 8.1 Oreo topped with Xiaomi’s custom MIUI skin. In terms of optics, Not 5 Pro houses dual camera on the back with a 12-megapixel primary sensor(f/2.2 aperture) and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor(f2.0 aperture). The front of the phone has 20-megapixel selfie shooter.

Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, and Gyroscope.
