Redmi Note 7 Pro

Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro are set to go on sale in India today via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home Stotes. Both the smartphones were launched in India at the end of February and went on the first sale later the next month. The Redmi Note 7 Pro offers a 48-megapixel camera as its key highlight, while the Redmi Note 7 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC at its price point.

Redmi Noye 7 Pro price in India starts at ₹13,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant, while its 6GB/128GB variant is priced at ₹16,999. The smartphone is available in Neptune Blue, Nebula Red, and Space Black color options. Redmi Note 7, on the other hand, is priced at ₹9,999 for the 3GB/32GB variant, while its 6GB/64GB variant is priced at ₹11,999. The Redmi Note 7 comes in Onyx Black, Ruby Red, and Sapphire Blue color variants.

The buyers of the devices will be eligible to avail up to 1,120GB data along with unlimited calling through Airtel network alongside various Airtel Thanks benefits. Reliance Jio subscribers will be receiving double data offer through recharges of ₹198 or above.

Redmi Note 7 Pro

In terms of specifications, the Redmi Note 7 Pro features the same “Aura Design” as the Redmi Note 7 as well as the same 6.3-inch Full-HD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and waterdrop-style notch. Both the front and the back of the device sports a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protection for added durability. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage on the device is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro houses a dual camera setup at the back compromising of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 lens and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor. At the front, the device has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.

The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top. The company claims that it has added enhanced system optimizations in the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which according to the company, provide 10 percent faster system responsiveness. The device is backed up by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support.

In terms of specifications, the Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Gorilla Glass 5, and waterdrop-style notch. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The storage on the device is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The device is backed up by a 4000mAh battery and includes Quick Charge 4.0 support, rear fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-SIM support (hybrid). In terms of the connectivity options, the Redmi Note 7 comes with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and Infrared.

At the camera front, the device packs a dual camera setup at the back compromising of a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 in China with a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM-1 sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The phone retains the 13-megapixel front camera that the Chinese variant had.

Redmi Note 7 runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.
