Samsung will host the ‘Galaxy Unpacked for every fan’ on September 23
This would be the third launch event in less than two months. But this could be a bit different. Samsung is probably going to launch a fan edition of the Samsung Galaxy S20.
It would be cheaper than regular S20. In the previous unpacked event, we saw the launch of Note20 and 20 Ultra, also the latest Samsung earbuds.
Not only the fan edition of S20, but we may also see the launch of Samsung’s home speaker. The Galaxy home was announced way back in 2018 but hasn’t launched yet. So 23rd September might be the date. Samsung will take on the likes of Apple, Google, and Amazon who already have their foot in the smart speaker market.
According to the leaks, the Samsung S20 fan edition could have the Snapdragon 865 chipset with 8gigs of RAM. The secondary memory is supposed to be 512 GB. It will also have a 120Hz refresh rate and yes it would support 5G.
Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan event begins Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm IST. The virtual event will be streamed live on Samsung’s site, so you can watch it on the phone, tablet or laptop as per convenience.
