Samsung is all set to release two new smartphones- Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and Samsung Galaxy A72, as the support pages for the devices go live. Also, the Galaxy A52 5G was spotted on a listing from a UAE- based retailer revealing few specifications and an official render of the mobile phone.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G Specification

Before its official launch, Samsung’s Galaxy A52 5G was already put on sale by a retailer in Saudi Arabia. The listing revealed the key specifications of the device.

Galaxy A52 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Other variants of the device may be available depending upon the region. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and is expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate and the whole display unit is Gorilla Glass, but, there is no confirmation regarding the version.

As far as the camera is concerned, it features a quad-cameras in a rectangular setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP sensor, presumably for wide-angle, and two 5MP sensors, expected to be for depth and macro lenses. At the front, a 32MP selfie camera is placed inside a hole-punch at the center of the display.

The in-display fingerprint scanner is built into the display. The device carries a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack, but, the smartphone offers NFC.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is expected to be priced at SAR 1,649 (Rs. 32,100) for the 8GB + 128GB storage model. But we have to wait for the official launch of the device, which seems soon as the support page goes live.

Moto G 5G and Xiaomi Mi 10i also feature the Snapdragon 750G SoC, however, they are priced at Rs 21,200 and Rs. 22,999 respectively. It will be interesting to see the pricing of the Galaxy A52 5G as the Indian smartphone market is getting very competitive.

Samsung Galaxy A72 Specifications

The support page for Samsung Galaxy A72, 4G variant, also goes live in UAE. It is speculated that a 5G variant will also be launched with Galaxy A72 branding.

The Galaxy A72 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The Galaxy A72 could also feature a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP sensor, presumably for macro. A 32MP selfie camera is offered at the front.

The device carries a 4,500mAh battery with an in-display fingerprint scanner built into the display.

The Galaxy A72 is expected to be priced at Rs. 39,400 for the 4G variant. The official pricing could be different from what we expect. All the doubts will be clarified once the device debuts globally, which is expected in March.
