Samsung Galaxy A70 price has been revealed in China. Samsung has started taking pre-orders for the new Galaxy-A series smartphone in the country with a starting price of CNY 2,999 (roughly ₹31,000). Meanwhile, the Galaxy A70 has also been listed in India. Samsung India website has added a microsite detailing the key features of the Galaxy A70, hinting at an imminent launch. At the Galaxy A80 launch event, Samsung announced that the Galaxy A70 will go on sale starting from April 26. The Galaxy A70 comes with Infinity-U display panel and is powered by an octa-core processor. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI on top.
Samsung revealed the prices of its Galaxy A70 smartphone in China through its official eShop. The 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy A70 is up for pre-orders in China at CNY 2,999 (roughly ₹31,000), while its 8GB RAM variant has been priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly ₹34,000). There is no word regarding the price of the smartphone in India, however, by the looks of the Chinese pricing, it seems Samsun would launch the smartphone in India with ₹30,000-₹35,000 range.
Separately, an official microsite from Samsung India has gone live detailing the specifications of the Galaxy A70. The microsite, however, does not reveal the pricing and availability of the smartphone in India. It showcases all the key features of the smartphone including triple rear camera setup, Samsung Pay integration, 25W fast charging, and on-screen fingerprint sensor.
Since the microsite has been launched already, it could be assumed that Samsung is looking forward to releasing the smartphone in India soon.
Samsung Galaxy A70 Specifications
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy A70 comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage on the device can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
For photos and videos, the Galaxy A70 features a triple rear camera module compromising of a 32-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens. At the front, the smartphone has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 lens.
The Galaxy A70 has an in-display fingerprint scanner and comes with the support for face unlock. Besides, it packs a 4,500mAh battery that works with Super-Fast charging at 25W.
