Samsung Infinity Displays

Samsung is expected to launch its M series budget smartphone this month. The M series line-up compromises of 3 phone-M10, M20, and M30. According to a new report from IANS, the phones could be priced under ₹15,000. The report suggests that the M10 will be priced at ₹9,500 while the M20 will cost about ₹15,000. The report also adds that Samsung will be targeting millennials with its M series.

Samsung will be challenging Xiaomi’s Redmi line-up with the M series, which is a prominent brand in India for the budget segment. Xiaomi has established its position as the number one smartphone brand in India and Samsung is looking forward to dethroning Xiaomi.

It has already been revealed that the Samsung Galaxy M series will come with an Infinity V notch display. The M series will be the first smartphones from Samsung to sport a notched display which is a clear parting from Samsung’s no-notch smartphone principle.

Out of the three phones, the M10 and the M20 will launch in India first. The phones will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos processor coupled with 3GB and 4GB of RAM. The internal storage on the devices haven’t been revealed yet but it is speculated that the base model will have a 16GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy M10 will sport a 6.5-inch display. The device will be powered by Samsung’s own processor Exynos 7870 coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16/32GB internal storage. M10 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo and will be fueled by 3,400 mAh battery. The cameras on M10 will have a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Galaxy M20 will sport a 19.5:9 screen to body aspect ratio. Powered by Exynos 7885 coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB ROM, M20 will run on Samsung’s custom Experience UI based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Lastly, the Galaxy M30 will be similar to the M20 in terms of display, screen to body ratio, and processor. However, M30 will pair Exynos 7885 with 4GB of RAM.
