Samsung Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20 went on sale for the first time today via Amazon and Samsung’s own online store. Samsung has announced that both the phones have been sold out and the next batch of the devices is set for sale on February 7. The South-Korean company also reported that response from customers has been “unprecedented” on both channels.

In terms of pricing, the 2GB/16GB variant of the Galaxy M10 is priced at ₹7,990 while the 3GB/32GB variant of the device is priced at ₹8,990. The Samsung Galaxy M20, on the other hand, comes in a 3GB/32GB base model for a price of ₹10,990 while the 4GB/64GB variant of the device bears a price tag of ₹12,990. Both of these phones are available exclusively through Amazon and Samsung.com.

As for the specifications of the device, The Galaxy M10 will sport a 6.5-inch display. The device will be powered by Samsung’s own processor Exynos 7870 coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16/32GB internal storage. M10 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo and will be fueled by 3,400 mAh battery. The cameras on M10 will have a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the phone houses a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

The M20 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 7904 SoC, paired with 3GB and 4GB RAM options and Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. The M20 also runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung’s optimized Experience UI on top. The phone packs dual camera setup at the back with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. An 8-megapixel is available at the front.

Samsung has launched its M10 and M20 smartphones as a direct competition to Xiaomi smartphones. Xiaomi smartphones have been dominating the budget smartphone market in India and Samsung is looking forward to dethroning Xiaomi as India’s number one smartphone company.
