Samsung Galaxy Note

Samsung unveiled four Galaxy S10 devices including Galaxy S10 5G back in February. The company also revealed its first foldable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Now, a report claims that at least four models of the Galaxy Note 10 have surfaced, hinting at two devices of different sizes, each of them having a 4G and 5G version.

The source claims that the model numbers of the Galaxy Note 10 and its bigger counterpart are SM-N970 and SM-N975 respectively. The bigger model would probably be called Galaxy Note 10+. According to previous reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ would come with 6.28” and 6.75” displays, and these models would feature respectively three and four cameras at the back. The device will also have a 5G version, which will bear the model number SM-N971 and SM-N976.

These are the main model numbers and additional symbols are supposed to be added to the model numbers according to different markets. Samsung usually releases its phones in China with 0 at the end of the device’s model number, while the global variants get the letter F, so Samsung could release the Galaxy Note 10 in China under the model number  SM-N9700, while the global variant of the smartphone will come under  SM-N975F, with /DS in the end for dual SIM capabilities.

There have been reports that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will come with an edge-to-edge screen with no punch-hole camera or notch whatsoever, this would be possible because Samsung is planning to implement the front camera in the iconic Spen. There have also been reports that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will replace physical buttons in favor of haptic sensory touches.

Furthermore, The latest information coming out of South Korea suggests that Samsung is working on a smaller version of Galaxy Note 10.

If the report is credible, it would mark the first time Samsung would be releasing two variants of its Note smartphone. Since having three variants of the Galaxy S10 has helped Samsung acquiring different segments of the market, especially with the Galaxy S10e, Samsung is looking forward to attempting the same approach with its Galaxy Note-series.
