Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e, all these Samsung smartphones are going to get September 2019 patches in Europe. The September 2019 security patch will bring a bunch of new features like Night mode for selfies, Live focus video (which debuted on the Note10 family), Link to Windows, and DeX for PC support.

There is a chance that these patches will bring the AR Doodle function in the camera app specifically for selfies. All of these new features are already inherent in Note10 family, and it’s good to see them making it to the S10 devices as soon as possible, without Samsung having waited to include them in the Android 10 update.

The 1.2GB update once installed will be set as G97xFXXU3ASIG firmware version in your phone.

    • G970FXXU3ASIG firmware version is for S10e device
    • G973FXXU3ASIG firmware version is for S10
    • G975FXXU3ASIG firmware version is for S10+

Samsung September Update:

Camera:

The new update has added camera features that are in Galaxy Note 10 to Galaxy S10.

Now, S10 users can enjoy all the features like Live focus, Live focus video, Night mode for the front camera, AR Doodle and Super steady video recording in Hyperlapse mode. This update merely brings the new Glitz Live focus effect from the Galaxy Note 10. Live focus video, on the other hand, is a new addition for both the front and rear cameras.

Link to Windows:

Galaxy Note 10 is already equipped with Link to Windows feature. Now, it has been expanded to the Galaxy S10 series as well. This is nothing more than a glorified shortcut which hides the app icon for Microsoft’s Your Phone app.

The Link to Windows feature enables users to access their phone content on their Windows 10 devices. This includes photos, messages, notifications, and mobile apps. The software maker would eventually make it possible for users to respond to calls directly from their PC. This feature is different from Samsung’s DeXapp that allows users to interact with their phone from a Windows or macOS computer.
