Samsung Galaxy S10 line-up concept

Samsung is gearing up to launch its next-gen Galaxy S-series line up at the company’s own Unpacked event on February 20. As the release date inches closer, various rumors and leaks have been surfacing online about the specifications and design of the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10 Lite. As the leaks and rumors suggest, the new Samsung Galaxy S10-lineup gets narrow bezels and a punch-hole camera at the front. Since all the punch-hole camera display smartphones so far have had IPS LCD displays, it would be interesting to see how Samsung incorporates a punch-hole camera in an AMOLED display.

Samsung has introduced its set of Infinity displays with punch-hole and notch design in an event where the company also showcased its foldable smartphone, dubbed as Galaxy F. It is being speculated that the company might also launch the Galaxy F in the upcoming Unpacked event on February 20. The Samsung Galaxy F was recently seen in a leaked promo posted by Samsung Vietnam showing someone opening up a foldable phone which might as well be the new Samsung Galaxy F. The video also showed a bunch of other techs from Samsung including displays with gesture control, remote controlled tattoo robot, an ultrasound phone accessory. The video was taken down swiftly, nevertheless, it was promptly reuploaded by some internet citizens.

Both the Galaxy S10 lineup and the Galaxy F from Samsung are said to sport a triple camera setup at the back of the devices. All the upcoming phones from Samsung are said to have an in-display fingerprint scanner, which will be powered by Qualcomm so it could be assumed that the fingerprint authentication on Samsung devices would be faster compared to what we have seen on the likes of OnePlus 6T and Vivo Nex. The Galaxy S10 Lite, however, will come with a side mounted fingerprint scanner which will help reduce the cost on the Lite version of the S10.

Samsung will be launching the Galaxy S10 Lite as a direct competition to the Google Pixel 3 and Apple iPhone XR. The S10 Lite is slated to come in Black, White, Yellow, and Green color options. The Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+, on the other hand, will be available in Green, Black, White, and Blue colors.

The Unpacked event from Samsung would mark the ten years anniversary of the Galaxy smartphones. The company is also expected to launch the 5G variant of the S10 later this year. The company has recently reported that the Galaxy S10 went into mass production in the Vietnam plant of the company.

The Unpacked event will be held on February 20 in San Francisco.
