Samsung Galaxy S10+

Samsung Galaxy S10-series is set for a global launch on February 20 and apparently, Indian users will not have to wait for too long to have their hands on the flagships from Samsung.

According to 91Mobiles, citing a Samsung distributor as the source, the Galaxy S10 will come to India on March 6. That means Samsung will bring the S10 to India two weeks after its global launch.

The outlet also shared information on tentative pricing for the smartphones, starting at ₹50,000 for the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, ₹65,000 for the Galaxy S10, and ₹75,000 for the Galaxy S10+. The source also mentions that the price difference between different variants of the same device will be around ₹4,000.

91Mobiles also reported, citing their sources, that the Galaxy S10+ will be coming in with 128GB onboard storage. Moreover, the report states that the priciest version of the Galaxy S10+ will support up to 1.5TB storage as the device will come with 1TB onboard storage which can be expanded further with the use of 512GB microSD card.

The smartphone is tipped to be coming in with either Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9820 SoC. In India, Samsung will be launching the S10-series with Exynos processors. Other expected features of the flagship lineup include Wi-Fi 6 and 9W reverse wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy S10 line-up is also expected to come with a “detachable screen protector”. The protector is said to cover the edges of the phone and come pre-installed. Moreover, the Galaxy S10 and S10+ will come with an in-display fingerprint powered by Qualcomm’s second-generation ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy S10 Lite, however, will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ will have ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint sensor, the S10 Lite will not feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, rather it would have a side mounted fingerprint sensor. All three of the S10 lineup will have camera cutouts, the S10+ will have a dual camera cutout in the display.

The devices will be available in Black, White, Blue, and Green colors. The Galaxy S10 Lite will also be available in a fifth yellow color variant.

The leaks also reveal that Galaxy S10+ will be backed up 4000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Lite will be fueled by 3500 mAh and 3100 mAh batteries, respectively.
