Samsung is gearing up to launch the third smartphone in its Galaxy M-lineup, the Galaxy M30. The device is expected to come with more premium features compared to the Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20. Samsung on Thursday told IANS that the Galaxy M30 will sport a triple camera module and a 5000mAh battery. The company further added that the device will go on sale starting the first week of March in India, right after its official release in February. The company did not go into the specification and pricing of the smartphone, nevertheless, various leaks have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy M30 will be priced around ₹15,000. Notably, the Samsung Galaxy M10 and M20 are priced at ₹7,990 and ₹10,990 respectively in India.

With the rumored price tag, the Samsung Galaxy M30 is expected to take on the Redmi Note 7, which is announced to come to India on February 28.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M30 is expected to come with a 6.38-inch Super-AMOLED infinity V display with 2220×1080 pixels resolution. It will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7940 SoC 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. The storage on the Galaxy M30 would be expandable using a microSD card. Moreover, it will pack a powerful 5000mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the Galaxy M30 is expected to come with a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the device will have a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Moreover, the device will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and will also support face-unlock.

Apart from the Galaxy M30, Samsung has also scheduled the launch of its foldable smartphone for February 20 at its Unpacked event in San Francisco, along with its next-gen Galaxy S-series line-up. The phone is also rumored to come with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. On the camera front, we can expect a 12 MP + 12 MP dual camera and an 8 MP front camera. The device is expected to come with a price tag of $1,700(₹1,20,000 roughly).
