Skullcandy has released the Jib True truly wireless (TWS) earbuds with around 22 hours of battery life. the earbuds have an IPX4 sweat-and water-resistant build. The earbuds has dual microphones that can help to provide an improved voice calling experience along with enabling wireless music playback. The earbuds can also work solo which means that you can wear the pair or only one earpiece to save the battery.

It will compete against OnePlus Buds Z earbuds which has been identically priced in India. The earbuds will also try to take on the likes of Redmi Earbuds S and Realme Buds Q that are well-known in the affordable TWS segment. Skullcandy Jib True has been priced at Rs.2,999 in India. It is available in Blue and True Black colours and are available for sale through the website of Skullcandy.

The earbuds features 40mm drivers with an impedance of 32 ohms and frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. There are controls for adjusting volume, skip tracks, take voice calls and also activate Google Assistant or Siri and these can be done without taking out the connected phone. The company stated that it has used a noise-isolating fit which comes through a silicone tip. The earbuds have been equipped with Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity and are compatible with Android devices as well as iPhones.

When it comes to battery life, the earbuds can last for up to six hours on one single charge and the bundled case offers additional usage of 16 hours. This makes the total battery life as 22 hours and it is two hours more than the 20 hours usage promised by OnePlus Buds Z. But compared to the OnePlus offering, Skullcandy has not defined if it has offered any fast charging support on the Jib True. The earbuds weigh around 228 grams.
