Redmi Note 7 and Samsung Galaxy M30

The Indian smartphone market is expected to witness some rush during the end of February and the early week of March in terms of smartphone launches. Companies like Xiaomi, Samsung, Realme and Oppo are expected to release their smartphones during this period of the year. While Xiaomi is expected to launch its much-awaited Redmi Note 7, Samsung is expected to reveal its third and final smartphone in its M-series. Oppo and Realme too are gearing up to launch their F11 Pro and Realme 3 respectively. Let’s take a look at the smartphones that are expected to make a debut in India soon.

Redmi Note 7

Since the launch of the Redmi Note 7 in China, Xiaomi has managed to be featured in the headlines in the tech community regarding the launch of the Redmi Note 7 in India. The phone is slated to be launched in India on February 28. The device will be a Flipkart exclusive and is expected to be priced at ₹10,500 for the 3GB/32GB variant.

The Redmi Note 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 coupled with 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB of RAM, depending on the variant. The camera module at the back of device compromises of two sensors: a 48-megapixel with f/1.8 aperture coupled with a 5-megapixel for depth information. the front camera is a 13-megapixel sensor with AI features and portrait mode.

The Redmi Note 7 for India will get a revamped UI with Google Play Store while the rest of the specifications will remain the same. The Redmi Note 7 comes with 6.2-inch Full HD+ display Corning Gorilla Glass protection, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy M30

Samsung will launch the M30 in India on February 27, a day before Xiaomi will launch its Redmi Note 7. Like the Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20, the Galaxy M30 will be an Amazon exclusive. According to some reports, the Galaxy M30 is expected to be priced at ₹14,990 for the base variant.

The Galaxy M30 will come with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED panel featuring the Infinity-U Display design. The panel will be an upgrade to the LCD panels that the Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20 ship with.

The Galaxy M30 had been speculated to come with a triple camera module and an official render posted along with the tweet confirms the same. The device is expected to be made available through Amazon and Samsung India e-store.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M30 is expected to feature Exynos 7904, which is seen on the M20, which uses two Cortex A73 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and six Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.6GHz. The device will feature a triple camera module with a 13-megapixel f/1.9 primary sensor, a 5-megapixel f/2.2 secondary wide-sensor, and a third 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth sensor. At the front, the phone is expected to feature a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7940 SoC, the device will come with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage options. The storage on the Galaxy M30 would be expandable using a microSD card. Moreover, it will pack a powerful 5000mAh battery.

Oppo F11 Pro

The F11 Pro from Oppo features a 48-megapixel primary sensor and is expected to come to India on March 5. Oppo will be hosting an event in Mumbai where the company is expected to release the F11 Pro. The price and the availability of the device have not been revealed by the company as of now, nevertheless, according to the teaser page set up by Oppo on its website, the device will offer improved low light portrait photography and packs a dual camera setup with an LED flash on the back. On the front, the device will feature a pop-up selfie camera the resolution of which has not been revealed yet.

The Oppo F11 Pro will also include VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. As teased by the company, the phone will have minimum bezels around and 3D gradient casing. The teaser also reveals that the device will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other specifications of the device are unknown as of now, nevertheless, the device could be expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series SoC.

Realme 3

Oppo sub-brand Realme is all set to launch its Realme 3 smartphone in India on March 4. The company will host the Realme 3 launch in the country at 12:30 pm IST on March 4. The company also sent out media invites to confirm that the launch of the Realme 3 will take place in New Delhi. Realme 3 is teased to come with a dual-rear camera setup and is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC.

According to the rumors, the Realme 3 will be shipping in two variants in terms of its processor. In India, the device will be powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, while the global variant of the device will feature MediaTek Helio P60 under the hood. The phone is also speculated to have a 16:9 aspect ratio and Bluetooth v4.2 support.
