At the recent IFA 2020, TCL revealed their new tablets having screen tech designed experience the same way of reading a paper, a smartwatch for everyone’s grandparents and AirPods Pro-style headphones. TCL also revealed some more information about its planned tech which includes rollable and waterfall phone displays and the Project Archery wearable display made to offer a cinematic experience to viewers. However, TCL clarified that the mentioned tech will not be available on commercial devices this year.
10 TabMax and 10 TabMid
TCL revealed their two new Android 10-equipped tablets to the public – 10 TabMax and 10 TabMid. The TCL 10 TabMax is having a 10.36-inch screen, a massive 8,000-mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera. It is priced at around 299 euros and the option of Wi-Fi will be available for 249 euros. On the other hand, the 10 TabMid is having an 8-inch screen of 1,920×1,200 pixel resolution. It has a massive battery of 5,000-mAh and an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It supports Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity and is priced at around 229 euros.
TCL has stated that 10 TabMax and 10 TabMid will be released in at the fourth quarter of this year and the tablets will be equipped with NXTVision tech of TCL that will make it easier for users to look in the screen. It will provide 25% more contrast than the normal LCD screen.
Movietime Family Watch MT43A
TCL has unveiled a new smartwatch for older people known as the Movietime Family Watch MT43A which will offer medication reminders, automatic fall detection, hands-free two way calling and heart-rate monitoring. Users will also be able to make calls and receive messages through a 4G connection and with the help of an SOS button on the side, they will be able to activate the function of making emergency calls.
It will be released in two colour variants – dark gray and black. It will have a 41-by-48.5mm AMOLED touch display and watch face, optimized larger icons and graphics designed for seniors. It will be priced at around 229 euros in US and Europe.
Moveaudio S200 True Wireless Headphones
As an AirPod alternative, TCL has revealed the Moveaudio S200 True Wireless Headphones which will be using Electronic Noise Cancellation system for cutting down background noise and four built-in microphones for voice calls. It will have 3.5 hours of battery life for single use and up to 23 hours by charging. It will be released in three colours – black, teal blue and white. It will be available for sale by the end of September priced at around 99 euros or $115.
