Apple recently hosted another event where they unveiled a few more products like the Apple Watch Series 6 with blood oxygen monitor and has claimed that it can track blood oxygen levels and let the users know more information about heart conditions. However, the most anticipated iPhone 2020 was not launched at the event but Apple did make some important announcements regarding the new iPads they would introduce this year.

iPad Air 4

The iPad Air 4 has a 10.9-inch edge-to-edge retina display, USB-C connectivity, A14 Bionic processor and Touch ID. The chipset has a 40% faster CPU, 30% faster graphics and 70% faster machine learning with next-generation Neural Engine.5. iPad 4 has a better processor than iPad Pro.

iPad Air 4 will be equipped with ARM processor-based chipset before the new iPhones that will be launched by the end of this year. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has stated that iPad has received Apple’s newest chip before the iPhone for the first time in about nine years. The iPad Air 4 has a single-lens rear camera. There is a 12-megapixel back camera with Focus Pixels and 7-megapixel FaceTime HD camera with an improved low-light performance. The device doesn’t have a LiDAR scanner and ultra-wide lens.

The iPad Air 4 has been priced at $599. It will be available in India on the month of October at Apple Authorised Resellers. The Wi-Fi models will be available at a starting price of Rs.54,900 and the Wi-Fi + Cellular models at a price of Rs.66,900. The new iPad Air with 64GB and 256GB configurations would come in five finishes including silver, sky blue, space gray, green, gold and rose.

iPad 8

Apple has also launched the iPad 8 at the Time Flies event. The iPad 8 does not have a powerful A14 SoC but it has slimmer bezels than before because of the bigger 10.2-inch display. There is not something great about this device since it is an entry level iPad model. The iPad 8 has the same design like the 7th generation with a home button and built-in Touch ID. It features an A12 Bionic chip which is a big upgrade compared to 7th generation iPad.
