Timex has launched the Timex Fit health monitoring smartwatch in India. The smartwatch comes with several health features like a SpO2 monitor, temperature sensor, and telemedicine. It is also capable to control the notifications and calls from mobile and music.

Timex Fit Smartwatch Specifications

Timex Fit smartwatch features a 35mm rectangular case size and is plastic-built. The display is a full-color touchscreen and has thick bezels on the edges along with an in-display button at the bottom. Timex claims that the watch supports 10 watch faces and the user can also picture from their gallery to set as watch face.

The wearable has several activity modes like running, cycling, tennis, yoga, dance, badminton, basketball, football, hiking, and gymming. The watch ships with health-specific sensors like SpO2 sensors to detect the blood oxygen level, sleep tracking, temperature tracking, and a heart-rate monitor.

However, the main highlight of the wearable is the telemedicine feature that allows the user to quickly consult a doctor through the Timex Fit app. The watch is connected to the mobile via the Timex Fit app, which is available in both Google Play Store for Android users and Apple’s App Store for iOS users. The watch shares the health and wellness data with the mobile application.

The smartwatch can also be used to control music and notifications on the mobile as well as receiving/ending calls. The wearable also sends calendar reminders. The company claims that the watch offers 6-day battery life with a single full charge.

The smartwatch will be offered in metal(Black Mesh and Rose Gold Mesh color options) straps and silicon(Black, Black Blue, and Black Red color options) straps. The Timex Fit wearable is priced at Rs. 6,995 for the silicon band version and the metal band variant is priced at Rs. 7,495 in India. The smartwatch will be up for grabs on the official website of Timex and authorized Timex retailers.

Considering the pricing, it will rival Amazfit GTS 2 Mini, which has a 1.55-inch square-shaped AMOLED display, water-resistant, 70+ sports modes, and up to 21 days battery life, priced at Rs. 6,999. It will be an interesting rivalry between the two budget wearables.
