Vivo sub-brand iQOO has been hitting the rumor mill since it has been announced earlier this month. The company shared a number of key specifications about its upcoming smartphone recently, and, now, the company has given us a look at the rear of the phone. The teaser reveals that the phone will be coming with a triple-camera module at the back panel. The phone is slated to be released on Match 1, nevertheless, the device popped up on Chinese regulator TENAA’s website, which has, in turn, revealed the full specifications of the phone.
The latest teaser posted by iQOO on its official Weibo website reveals that the device will be coming in at least two color options: Red and Blue. The teaser also confirmed that the new device will feature a triple-camera lens setup, which was last seen in a promotional picture from Vivo. The placement of the volume rocker and power button on the right as well as a dedicated button for AI-powered digital assistant on left can be seen as well.
iQOO does not share any other information regarding the device, however, two listings of the Vivo V1824A models, which are said to be the iQOO phone, have surfaced on the TENAA website revealing the full specification of the device as well as an additional Gold color option. According to the listing, the camera module on the device compromises of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. At the front, the device will have a 12-megapixel selfie shooter.
Additionally, the phone is expected to run on Android 9.0 Pie and will include 6GB/ 8GB/ 12GB of RAM, and 128GB/ 256GB of inbuilt storage. The device will feature a 6.41-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display.
Earlier Vivo had confirmed that the new device from iQOO will be backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, USB Type-C port, NFC, in-display fingerprint sensor, and Super HDR camera technology.
