Vivo NEX

Vivo NEX has yet again been subjected to a price slash, with the price tag being reduced from ₹44,990 to ₹39,990. When launched in India last year, the phone bore a price tag of ₹47,900 but was actually sold for ₹44,990. Now given the imminent release of Vivo NEX 2 with dual screen, the prices have been reduced to match the likes of Oneplus 6t.

Vivo Nex was the first attempt at a bezel-less smartphone that didn’t give in to the infamous notch and opted for a mechanized pop-up camera instead. This was followed by the sister company Oppo who went so far as creating a whole mechanized upper body. Both of these phones were able to accumulate much cacophony in the smartphone market with their innovative and brave attempts.

Vivo is all set to launch its dual-screen smartphone this year, Vivo NEX 2, one of the reasons the prices have been slashed off the Vivo NEX. Falling in the price bracket of Oneplus 6t, the Vivo NEX is a close competitor. The NEX is fueled by Snapdragon 845 coupled with 8 GB of RAM and boasts a 6.59 inches Super AMOLED display.

Coming to camera department, Vivo NEX sports a dual camera in the back. The primary sensor is 12 MP with f/1.8 featuring OIS while the secondary 5-megapixel with f/2.4 is a depth sensor for portrait photos.

While the prices on the NEX has been slashed, Vivo is all set to release its dual-screen smartphone in India by the end of this month. This new bezel-less phone from Vivo might have a similar price tag as Vivo NEX when it was launched.
