Vivo Y17 has been launched in India, after being leaked a few days ago. The biggest highlights of the smartphone include AI-powered triple rear cameras and 18W fast charging support. The smartphone comes with a 5,000mAh battery, a waterdrop notch, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone will be made available in two color options and is powered by Helio P35 SoC.
The price of the smartphone in India is not known as of yet, however, it is soon expected to be released now that the phone is listed on the company’s official site. The phone will be available in Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple color options.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone comes with a 6.35-inch (720×1544 pixels) HD+ LCD display with 19.3:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with FuntouchOS on top.
At the camera department, the smartphone comes with a triple rear camera module compromising of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 lens and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The camera module is accompanied by a rear flash that sits beneath the sensors. The camera features include PDAF time-lapse, HDR, AI Face Beauty, and super wide angle mode. At the front, the Vivo Y17 has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera features gender detection, panorama, face beauty, live photo, HDR, portrait, AI face beauty, camera filters, and more.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Micro-USB with OTG, GPS, FM radio, and more. While sensors on board include a fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. All of this is backed up by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
