Vivo has launched Vivo Y52s 5G (T1 Version) in China. The smartphone is a rehashed version of the Vivo Y52 that was launched in December 2020 in China. Apart from the processor, both smartphones share the same specifications. The latest Vivo Y52s is powered by a Snapdragon 480 5G SoC and comes with a 90Hz IPS panel.

Vivo Y52s (T1) is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC, coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone is offered with a sole 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version. On the other hand, Vivo Y52s 2020 model was powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box with Vivo’s custom OriginOs 1.0 on top.

The device features a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display has thin bezels on the edges and a slightly thicker bezel on the chin. It carries a waterdrop-style notch for the front camera.

As for the cameras, the phone sports a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture for depth. The rear camera module is arranged in a triangular shape with an LED flash being the third vertex. Upfront, an 8MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture is placed under the notch for selfies and video calls. The front camera also comes with a face unlock feature.

The mobile phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It ships with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options like dual 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, a USB Type-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Vivo Y52s (T1) is offered in three color options- Coral Sea, Monet, and Titanium Grey. It is priced at CNY 2,099 (Rs. 23,900) for the lone 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model in China. It is already up for grabs in China. The international availability of the smartphone is yet to be revealed.
