Vivo has launched its new smartphone in India called Vivo Y91. The device comes with dual camera setup, waterdrop notch, and gradient back panel among other features. The device is priced at ₹10,990 and looks to give competition to similarly priced phones from the likes of Redmi, Realme, and Honor. The Vivo Y91 comes with AI features incorporated in its camera to give better photography experience.

The device is currently available for purchase on Vivo India e-Shop, Amazon and Paytm Mall. Vivo says the phone will also be available through offline retailers. Vivo is also offering a free pair of headsets if the device is purchased from Vivo India Store. The smartphone can be availed with exchange offers using the old Vivo phone. Vivo is also offering no-cost EMI and a 15-day replacement with the purchase of the new phone. As a launch offer, Vivo is offering the smartphone with Jio cashback offer worth ₹4000 along with 3TB storage data. There is also an offer for Airtel users that includes cashback of worth ₹2000 and 240GB data.

The Vivo Y91 sports a 6.22-inch Halo FullView display with an HD+ resolution and waterdrop notch. The phone is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

In terms of optics, the phone houses a dual camera set up at the back with a 13-megapixel primary sensor(f/2.2) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor(f/2.4) for depth effect. At the front, the camera has an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies.

The cameras on the phone are AI-powered which helps the phone detect various attributes such as gender, skin tone and external lighting to apply filters accordingly and deliver enhanced images. The features on the camera also include slow-motion capture, portrait-mode for bokeh effect, and face unlock capability.

The phone comes with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The phone comes in Ocean Blue and Starry Black shades color options and is powered by 4030 mAh battery with USB 2.0 port.
