Vivo Y91 price in India has been slashed down by ₹1000, making the device available for ₹9,990. The device was launched in January and comes as the latest budget smartphone from Vivo. The device features a gradient back panel and a water-drop style notch. The device sports a dual camera with AI integration. The Y91 also comes preloaded with portrait mode and has a face unlock feature. The features on the device put it toe-to-toe with similar priced devices from Xiaomi and Realme.

The device is available on Vivo India e-shop, Amazon.in, and Paytm at the discounted price of ₹9,990. Mumbai-based Mahesh Telecom also suggested through a tweet that Vivo is offering the device at a discounted price.

Vivo Y91 was launched in January in India with a price tag of ₹10,990 for the 2GB RAM variant.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 6.22-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) Halo FullView display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, coupled with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 2GB RAM. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Funtouch OS 4.5 on top.

The device sports a dual camera unit at the back compromising of a a 13-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/2.2 lens and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor along with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, the device houses an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The preloaded features on the device include  smart beautification, portrait mode, slow-motion capture, and face unlock.

The Vivo Y91 comes with 32GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the Y91 include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.

The device is backed up by a 4,030mAh battery.
