Xiaomi Mi TV

Xiaomi is planning to launch the Mi TV 4 65-inch variant in India soon. According to a tweet from Xiaomi India’s chief Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi intends to launch its biggest TV yet in India.

The largest TV available in India from Xiaomi is Mi TV 4 with a 55-inch screen and a price tag of ₹44,999. The company also sells the higher end version of Mi TV 4 which costs ₹49,999.

Now the company is all set to launch a 65-inch TV that would give a cinematic experience to the viewers. Moreover, Xiaomi’s pricing strategy gives the company an edge over its competitors like Samsung, Sony, and LG. These brands have the same size TVs listed at way higher prices than that of Xiaomi’s. The 65-inch TV is currently being sold in China at CNY 5,999(approximately ₹63,000), the TV comes with 4K resolution and smart connectivity.

While the Xiaomi TV starts at a range of ₹12,999 for a 32-inch variant, customers usually go in for higher-end models as they are more value for money. The 65-inch variant is expected to be listed around ₹60,000 when it is launched. There hasn’t been any definite announcement as to the launch but it is expected to come to India soon.

In the meantime, Xiaomi has cut prices on some of its more affordable TVs as the new GST rates are applied. According to the statement from Xiaomi India, the Mi TV 4A which was previously sold at ₹13,999 will now be available at ₹12,499. While the Mi TV 4c which has been priced at ₹16,999 will now be available at ₹14,999. The new rates have been implemented across all the sales platform.
