Many of the local stores have been closed due to outbreak of COVID-19. Also, many retailers are facing loss. To overcome this Xiaomi has prepared an e-commerce site. This helps stores to connect directly to consumers through the web app or WhatsApp to sell the products. This e-commerce site is called Mi Commerce. Mi Commerce includes products like phones, Mi TVs, and power banks, etc.
Users can connect with local stores through this e-commerce site or through WhatsApp (+91 8861826286 ). One can get the details of the available products in the store. Also users can chat with the storekeeper to get details. When you place the order, the shop will accept your order and deliver it to your location.
Xiaomi India’s COO, Muralikrishnan B says” Mi Commerce is a specially designed platform. That caters to the needs of our offline retail partners. In the current COVID-19 scenario and it is Xiaomi’s first step towards a longer-term Omnichannel strategy. This special initiative is built to ensure ease of purchase, keep partners and customers safe, and foster business continuity. However, we are especially proud that this is a future-ready experience. That enable our users and retail partners in the post-COVID world”.
Even the company has also got permission to open some of its manufacturing units and will resume the operations soon. Recently, Lockdown has been relaxed in some regions across the country where COVID-19 spread is less.
However, recent research reveals that Xiaomi is in 1st position in terms of shipment of smartphones. The rest of the position is followed by Vivo, Oppo, and Samsung. Many tech analysts believe that Xiaomi will still be on the 1st for the rest of the year.
