Xiaomi has launched an affordable phone in the 9 series, named as Redmi 9A.
Let’s jump straight into the specs of this device. The Redmi 9A comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Talking about the camera, it has an a13MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture. And a 5MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture which is punched in the teardrop notch.
Talking about the processor, it has a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor. The newer version of Redmi 9A will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It used to come in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants earlier. The battery on this device is pretty good. It has a 5,000 mAh battery, charged at 10W through the micro USB port. So no USB type C support here.
If we talk about pricing, it is launching at CNY 999. (Rs 10,782). So pretty much affordable if it launches in India around the same price. Not sure about the Chinese market because you can get Redmi 10X 4G at the same price, which is better than this device in every area.
