Xiaomi has cut off ₹2000 of it Mi A2 in India, making the device available for ₹11,999, Global VP Manu Kumar Jain announced on Monday. The smartphone was recently subjected to a price cut, bringing its price down to ₹13,999, and now the company has cut off another ₹2000 of the device. The Mi A2 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, 20-megapixel rear and front cameras along with an f/1.75 lens, and a 3,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4+, among other highlights. MI A2 also comes as a part of Google‘s Android One programme and promises speedy updates and pure Android experience – without any bloatware.

According to the latest pricing announced on Twitter, the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant of the device is available at ₹11,999. Nevertheless, the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant has not been subjected to a similar price cut as of now and is available at ₹15,999.

The price drop of the Mi A2 is applicable on Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home, Mi Store, and Mi Preferred partners.

As mentioned above, Xiaomi cut the prices of its Mi A2 back in January. The company, at that time, notably dropped the price on both 4GB and 6GB RAM variant of the device.

Xiaomi Mi A2 was launched in India in August last year with a price tag of ₹16,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant was priced at ₹19,999.

In terms of specifications, the Mi A2 comes with a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display along with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM.

At the camera front, the device has a dual rear camera setup compromising of a  12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor along with an f/1.75 lens and a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor along with 4-in-1 Super Pixel tech and an f/1.75 lens. For selfies, the device has a 20-megapixel sensor at the front that is accompanied by a soft-light LED flash.

The storage on the device is expandable using a microSD card. The phone also has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C (v2.0) port on the connectivity front. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back, while other sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The device is backed up by a 3,000mAH battery.
