Xiaomi is offering a discount of up to ₹4,500 on its Android One device, the Mi A2. Both the variants of Mi A2 are available for a reduced price starting today at 12:00 pm.
The device will be available on an exclusive sale via Amazon and Xiaomi’s official website. The smartphone will also be available on sale in offline stores. Xiaomi took on Twitter to announce the discount offer on its smartphone. The company also said that more such announcements will be made today.
The base model of Xiaomi Mi A2 with 4GB of RAM and 64 Gb of internal storage will be available for 13,999 for the sale. The device was originally priced at ₹17,499. The 6GB variant with 128 GB of internal storage will also be available on sale for a price of ₹15,999. The 6 GB variant was originally priced at ₹20,500.
Xiaomi’s A2 is the company’s last years Android One smartphone successor. Mi A2 comes with many improvements over its predecessor including an 18:9 screen to body ratio, Snapdragon 660, Adreno 512 and more. However, Mi A2 lacks the headphone jack and expandable storage capability.
The Mi A2 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 screen to body ratio. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 coupled with 4/6 GB of RAM. In terms of optics, the phone packs a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture along with a 20-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. On the front, the phone has a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
Xiaomi Mi A2 is fueled by a 3000 mAh battery and weighs 168 grams.
When it comes to connectivity, the phone supports dual sim along with other sensors like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. The sensors on the phone include a Fingerprint sensor, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, and Gyroscope.
